Our newest seasonal menu has been released at Ember Woodfire Grill. This menu is one of our most creative and delicious menus yet. We have added 20 new items to the menu, along with keeping your favorites: The Calamari Salad, Steak Salad, Wings, Sliders, Pizzas, and Linguini & Clams. We have brought back some of the others from previous menus as well: Artisan Sausage, Hanger Steak, and the House Meatloaf. We look forward to serving you soon.

We will be running the same specials on Monday and Tuesday, where kids under twelve will be able to make their own pizza, free of charge.

Wednesday will continue to be our wine special day. Any bottle of wine under $50 will be half price.

Thursday will be our new wing night. We will be serving your favorite chicken wings with Ember Woodfire grills signature sauces for 9-11pm in the tap room.

We will be running the same Mystery Envelope giveaway again this year.

We updated our front web page with new special banners. our software sent out a blank link. Ember will never spam our customers. We might make a computer error here and there but no spam. We are going to use this blog going forward to post some cooking techniques and recipes we would like to share.

New Happenings at Ember Wood Fire Grill

We are now open for lunches at Ember Wood Fire Grill.  We will be serving our original style lunch fare from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.  A great selection of original burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads.

Our Intermezzo menu is served in the bar/tap room from 3pm-5pm in conjunction with our daily happy hour.  Our Intermezzo menu is lite fare tapas menu offering food between lunch and dinner service.  Happy hour is not only limited to our teachers specials (2-4-1 entire bar) but also to other patrons who may enjoy $2.00 domestic bottles and $2.00 off of our original fresh made cocktails from our Cocktail Menu.

On Tuesday & Wednesdays kids under the age of 12 will be able to make their own pizza and the table and we will cook it for them free of charge.  We have also upgraded our kids menu to be more “kid friendly.” We have added a decorate your own dessert for the kids and Kraft Mac & Cheese as well as our original homemade mac & cheese.  A great interactive fun time at Ember for the kids.

Thursdays for dinner service (4:30 -10:00) 1/2 price bottles of wine under $50.  Choose from a wide range of varietals from all over the world.  Also, 25 Cent wings from 9-11pm in the bar/tap room. Select any one of our house made delicious original sauces.

The Patio is Open, Summer Specials, and the Summer Menu

So many things to talk about…. so little time.

Our summer specials are:

Daily Happy hour from 4:30 – 6:00 Monday through Saturday (Inside & Patio Bars only)
$2.00 bud & bud lt bottles
$2.00 all well drinks
$3.00 all house wines

Teachers Specials:  All summer long, must show ID 4:30 – 6:00 (Inside & Patio Bars Only)
2-4-1 any drink (excluding happy hour specials)

Weather Permitting the patio will be open Thursday – Saturday (Live Entertainment)

Democrat and Chronicle Review

A quick little update. Once again we want to thank everyone that is providing feedback via comment cards, on our Facebook page, and via e-mail. It is all really appreciated and it is helping to shape our restaurant. Because of the feedback you have given us we can continually make your trip here a memorable dining experience. In fact we feel that your opinions has directly improved us and led to such positive critical responses like the one we received today in the D&C.

We just wanted to share with all of you the recent review we received in the Democrat and Chronicle. And we wanted to thank you for your patronage and feedback!

Thanks for all the Comment Cards

I would like to thank all of our new customers for their support through our first week. There were so many great suggestions on our comment cards and we are addressing them.

First of all, we added a great line of fresh tea. We upgraded our children’s menu and made it more kid friendly. (It will be posted on the web shortly.) Portion sizes have been corrected and error drink prices have been fixed.

Friday’s we are definitely doing a broiled fish special. We have also made sure that there are more vegetarian options available.

We are working on the noise problem in the new dining room. Please remember this is our first menu and it will change at least four times a year, so our choices will definitely increase.

Thanks again for your honest comments, without them we cannot improve.

I would also like to add: Our menus will change seasonally. Winter is the hardest time to source ingredients so our menu is limited a little.

Winter Hours, Facebook, and Yelp

First we want to thank everyone that has come out and supported us so far. We hope we are bringing a quality dining experience to Livingston County. It has been a few weeks since we updated the blog and we have a lot of news to cover.

We have updated our winter hours and will be opening the following times:

Mon-Wed: 4:30pm- 10 (dinner)
Bar: 10pm -11:30
Thur- Sat: 4:30pm- 10:30 (dinner)
Bar: 10:30pm -12:30pm
Sunday: Closed

Please note that our bar hours offer our late night menu.

Welcome to the Ember Woodfire Grill

We would like to welcome you to EmberWoodfireGrill.com the website for our restaurant.

With the launch of our site today we wanted to update you on some news.

First we would like to announce our opening night is going to be December 28th, you can book reservations now by calling 585.346.0222 (online reservations will be coming soon).

We also would like to take the time to thank everyone that has asked about our restaurant and are interested in what we are doing. We have pictures of the restaurant up on our homepage (our if you are into using Flickr you can find them there), our menu is now available for you to peruse, and we hope to be able to bring to you a dining experience that is unmatched locally.

Over the next week will be announcing some of our different specials, where you can connect with us, and some of the different features that you will find at Ember Woodfire Grill.
